# Manual Setup

Basic Setup

### Create a new GameObject in your scene 

Name it something (e.g., "Pixel Canvas")

* DrawableCanvas
* LayerManager
* BrushSystem
* UndoManager
* SelectionManager
* AnimationManager
* CanvasViewController
* CanvasInputHandler
* GridOverlay (optional)
* SelectionOverlay (optional)

### Add a RawImage as a child or on the same GameObject

assign it to DrawableCanvas.canvasImage

### Add RawImages for GridOverlay and SelectionOverlay

###  Choose a UI system

UI Toolkit: Add UIDocument + PixelArtUIController then assign the UXML/USS

UGUI: Add PixelArtUGUIController, create buttons and wire them up
